Some discomfort is normal, but pain varies by area and experience. To reduce it, exfoliate regularly, avoid caffeine, use a topical numbing cream if advised, breathe deeply during the service, and book with an experienced technician for faster, gentler results.
Waxing results usually last three to six weeks depending on your hair growth cycle and the area treated. With consistent appointments, hair often grows back finer and sparser, extending the time between sessions for many clients.
Waxing can contribute to ingrowns, especially if skin is dry or hair is curly. Prevent ingrowns by exfoliating regularly, moisturizing, avoiding tight clothing after waxing, and using recommended post-wax products. We’ll advise tailored treatments if you’re prone to bumps.
