Get answers to common questions about Brazilian Wax.
Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth and maintenance. Regular waxing can extend intervals by weakening follicles. We recommend scheduling every four to six weeks for consistent, comfortable results and predictable regrowth patterns.
Some discomfort is normal, especially for first-timers, but the procedure is quick. We use pre-wax care, high-quality wax, calming techniques, and post-wax soothing products to minimize pain. Avoid caffeine and ensure hair is at least quarter-inch for best comfort.
Exfoliate gently 48 hours before to prevent ingrown hairs, avoid retinoids and sun exposure for several days, and arrive clean and free of heavy lotions. If you are on medications that thin the skin, inform us beforehand to adjust treatment and ensure safety.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming, and tight clothing for 24-48 hours. Use gentle cleansers, fragrance-free moisturizers, and our soothing post-wax serum to calm skin. Exfoliate lightly after five days to prevent ingrown hairs and promote even regrowth.
Yes, many clients can receive Brazilian waxing during pregnancy. We recommend waiting until after the first trimester, avoiding positions that cause discomfort, and informing your esthetician of any pregnancy-related skin sensitivity or medical concerns so we can adapt technique.
Hair should be about a quarter-inch long (roughly two weeks of growth) so the wax can grip roots effectively. If hair is too short, waxing won't remove it; if too long, we will trim it for a cleaner, faster service.
