Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Face.

Wash your face and avoid applying makeup before your appointment. Discontinue retinol and aggressive exfoliants 48-72 hours prior. Hair should be about ¼ inch long. Tell your technician about allergies or topical medications for a safe, comfortable Full Face waxing experience.

Some sensitivity is normal, especially around the lip and chin. We use warm wax, skilled technique, and quick, precise removal to minimize pain. Numbing creams on request, cool compresses afterward, and consistent waxing over time typically reduce discomfort.

Results vary by hair growth cycles but typically last two to six weeks. Fine facial hair may return sooner, while regular waxing can slow regrowth. We recommend scheduling every 4–6 weeks to maintain smoothness and prevent patchy regrowth.

Mild redness, pinpoint bleeding, or temporary bumps are common and usually resolve within 24–48 hours. Avoid sun exposure, hot showers, and heavy exercise for 24 hours. Use gentle cleansers and soothing aloe or recommended lotions if irritation persists.

Tell us about any prescription products like retinoids, Accutane history, or recent chemical peels. Many actives increase sensitivity and may require delays. We’ll review your skincare, advise an appropriate wait time, or recommend alternative hair removal to protect your skin.

Keep skin clean and avoid makeup for 24 hours. Use soothing, alcohol-free products, apply a cool compress if needed, and avoid sun, saunas, exfoliation, or strong actives for 48–72 hours. Follow your technician’s personalized aftercare for best results.
